The newest and youngest member of the band, Robert brings the most technical experience. A graduate of Cal State Long Beach with a minor in music, Robert spends his time playing Classical, Baroque, Rock and anything else that gets assigned to him. As a kid growing up with the fiddle, Bluegrass was a major influence in his playing, but it is the Irish music and the progressive spirit of The American Wake, that really fuels Robert’s playing. His ability to add elements from all of the styles he plays and his desire to expand the boundaries of what can be used within Irish music have pushed the band’s sound to a whole new level. Through fierce leads, great arrangement ideas and dedication to the true spirit of The Wake, Robert is moving the band to a place they always hoped they could go.
