Damien Murray : Drums, Vocals
The only true Irish member of the band, Damien grew up around Irish music 365 days a year. As the son of Dennis Murray, bass player and singer for The Mulligan’s, Damien spent many years behind the drum kit backing up his dad. Through the 80s he toured the U.S. and Europe with the band Sixtieth Parallel. The years of experience with Irish traditional music coupled with time on the road with his post-punk era band have formed the unique drumming style that locks in perfectly with Chris' bass playing. Damien's willingness to push things to the edge and experiment is what makes it so amazing both for the audience and his band mates. His ability to play guitar as well as drums has added a lot to the songwriting and arranging process. His years of experience in the Irish scene help to ensure that the original material keeps its solid roots in the Irish tradition.
